Our first time glamping with two toddlers

There are plans where you know exactly how things will go.

And then there are the plans where you think:

"this could turn out amazing… or it could be a complete disaster."

Going glamping with two toddlers was definitely in the second category.

But that's exactly why we wanted to do it.

We wanted to trade the traditional hotel for something different, step away from the routine, and see how Fabrizio and Bruno would react to sleeping surrounded by nature.

And we ended up discovering that kids often need a lot less than we think to have an amazing time.

A new place.

Nature.

Time together.

And the feeling of living a little adventure.

The best part

For us it wasn't just about sleeping in a different kind of tent.

It was slowing down.

Being outside.

Watching the kids explore.

And having one of those days where pretty much everything revolves around being together.

That's exactly the kind of experience we want to find with The Mastro Family.

Not necessarily the most expensive place.

Not necessarily the most famous one.

The one that manages to become a memory.

Would we do it again?

100%.

But we also learned a few things we'd definitely do differently next time.

And that's probably our favorite rule for this blog:
